Former Terraform Lab CEO 's extradition to South Korea has hit another delay.

The court opted to wait until the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office makes a decision on the Request for Protection of Legality, reports local media.

The postponement is yet another move in Kwon's back-and-forth regarding his extradition out of Montenegro, where he had been arrested in March 2023 for document forgery in an attempt to board a flight to Dubai, The Block previously reported.

The High Court in Montenegro first ruled to extradite Kwon to the United States in February of this year to face legal consequences related to the -Luna crash of 2022. However, the court reversed the decision in early March and opted instead to extradite him to South Korea, followed by months of appeals, delays and inconsistent rulings.
